Acne Treatments

TruSculpt® 3D

Extractions

Extraction services are available to cleanse compacted or clogged pores, usually as part of a facial.

Treatment begins with a complete facial cleansing. Then a specially formulated liquid or cream is applied with steam to soften the skin, and make extraction easier. After this, gentle pressure will be applied to the effected pores.

Once the extractions have been completed, antiseptic or antibacterial products are applied to the skin to return it to its normal pH levels and decrease the odds of further breakouts.

Because home extractions can spread bacteria or damage pores, it is best to let your esthetician perform the procedure, and to avoid picking or popping pores on your own.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peel techniques are used to exfoliate your skin by removing dead skin and revealing a fresh new layer that has a smoother texture, and is less wrinkled.

The most common uses of chemical peels are:

Chemical peels may be used on the face, neck, or hands. You should expect moderate discomfort, and redness for up to 3 days after the procedure.

Because chemical peels can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight, you are encouraged to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher when venturing outdoors after a procedure.

We offer several types of JUVEDERM XC treatments to more effectively address your specific areas of concern:

You should expect to see results from treatment within 24 to 72 hours. Common side effects include flu-like symptoms, headaches, numbness, dizziness, and redness or swelling of the injection side.

PICCO Genesis™

PICO Genesis™ is the newest aesthetic treatment used to improve unwanted freckles, age spots, and sun spots. It uses a laser to rid the skin of unwanted pigmentation to return balance and radiance to the upper layer of skin.

PICO Genesis™ is typically used on the hands and face, in areas that show excessive sun damage and pigmentation. Most clients do not experience discomfort during the treatment.

Results are obvious after a series of two to three treatments. Ongoing treatments are recommended to sustain long-term results. You may experience mild swelling and redness in the hours following treatment, but should be able to return to normal activity immediately following treatment. Cold air or an ice pack may be used to reduce discomfort. Avoid sun on the treated area post-treatment and use sunscreen.

Pearl Fractional

Pearl skin resurfacing provides skin rejuvenation by removing the top layer of the skin completely. This allows all damaged cells to be removed, and promotes new healthy cell growth. Patients can expect smoother skin, improved skin texture, and reduced appearance of wrinkles.

The Pearl resurfacing technique delivers longer lasting effects than other techniques, and is less invasive. The treatment lasts about 15 minutes, and patients should expect to take 3 to 4 days to recover.

Side effects include reddening of the face that lasts up to 4 days, during which the skin may feel sunburned.

In certain cases, patients may require two treatments, spaced at least one month apart, but most patients achieve desired results after just one treatment.

Secret Pro/CO2

If your goal is to turn back time, Secret PRO uses a fractional CO2 laser alongside radiofrequency micro-needling to help reverse signs of aging. Address concerns like wrinkles, scars, fine lines, and more through a tailored combination of dermal remodeling and skin rejuvenation. We can use both techniques together to help you achieve smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

2D Skin Rejuvination

This is a 2 step process that first consists of a limelight IPL photofacial and secondly the laser genesis treatment:

Limelight is an IPL fotofacial technique that works to reduce redness, the appearance of small veins, sun damage, and brown spots. This treatment works by using intense pulses of light to cause collagen and blood vessels under the skin to constrict.

Limelight is beneficial in treating areas of the face and neck. Each treatment time varies, but should take less than one hour. Patients usually require up to 3 treatments to reach desired results.

You may experience mild pinching or stinging sensations during treatment, but this usually does not require anesthesia.

The Laser Genesis treatment works to improve wrinkles and skin texture while reducing large pores and redness by utilizing photo technology to heat the upper dermis to stimulate collagen and dilate capillaries. You will find it a relaxing and therapeutic experience.

Because the results of Laser Genesis are subtle, you may need 4 to 6 treatments to achieve desired results. Most patients report experiencing no side effects, while some have complained of redness that disappears within hours of treatment.
